Objectives of the Course
In this course, theories encompassing the bio-psycho-social development of individuals within the framework of the interaction of social systems such as families, groups, organizations, institutions, communities, and societies are discussed, along with theories and issues related to infancy, childhood, and adolescence.

2They will comprehend that humans are biopsychosocial beings
3They will understand the impacts of environment-based concepts such as social, economic, and cultural structure, class, poverty, oppression, discrimination, and sexism on behavior and development, as well as the effects of Diversity concept on individuals
4They will acquire necessary knowledge about developmental tasks, developmental needs, as well as risk and protective factors related to infancy, childhood, and adolescence.
5They will establish a theoretical foundation for social work intervention.
