1Students will be able to, 1. Understand properties and performances of antenna systems from technical specifications and datasheets. 2. Design fundamental antenna types based on application specifications and requirements. 3. Explain operation principles of antennas 4. Foresee changes on performance of antennas based on operation environment.

Course Contents
1. To teach the function of antennas from circuit and free space propagation point of view. 2. To introduce fundamental antenna types and teach operation principles, advantage and disadvantages of antenna types. 3. To introduce research techniques in antenna technologies.
