Objectives of the Course
This course examines the principles of biomass energy. During the course, the sources of biomass energy, potential, methods of energy acquisition and usage areas are emphasized.

1- Biyokütle enerjisi dönüşüm yöntemlerinden herbirinin hangi amaçlara daha iyi hizmet vereceğini, buna göre de proses seçimini yapabilme,
2- Enerji ihtiyacına bağlı problemleri sürdürülebilir ve temiz enerji açısından değerlendirip sonuç önerebilme,
3- Temel biyokütle ve biyokütle enerjisi kavramlarını öğrenebilme,
4- Güncel teknik, teknolojik ve istatiki verileri takip edebilme ve bu verilere dayanarak potansiyel-proses arasındaki ilişkileri kurabilme
5- Enerji elde edebilmenin, kullanım alanlarının ve çevre ile olan ilişkisinin temel ilkelerini kavrayabilme
6- To evaluate the problems related to energy need in terms of sustainable and clean energy and to propose the results,
7- To be able to learn basic biomass and biomass energy concepts,
8- To be able to comprehend the basic principles of energy acquisition, usage areas and relation with environment,
9- To be able to follow current technical, technological and statistical data and to establish relations between potential and process based on this data.

Course Contents
To have sufficient knowledge about the basic concepts of biomass which is a renewable energy source. As well as to understand the methods of energy acquisition in general.
