Course Contents
Types of nuts walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds and chestnut, cultural history, economic importance and nutritional value of fruit characteristics, taxonomy, origin, species and varieties pomologic classification, morphological and biological characteristics, ecological requirements, breeding, applied to the cultural harvesting and storage issues, and technical operations and increase students' knowledge and skills.
