Objectives of the Course
The general objective of this course is to learn about isolation of the bactera from diseased plant tissues by using general or selective medium, obtaining of pure bacterial culture and storing techniguee, hiper sensitivity and pathogenisity tests and some of the calassical identification techniques.

5Inoculation, reproduction, and transmission of plant pathogenic bacteria and simptom evolution on plants
6Introduction of general aspects on the basis of Genus of plant pathogenic bacteria
7Midterm Exam
8Introduction of basic equipmants of bacteriology laboratories, preparation of standart, semiselective and selective media.
9Sampling from diseased plants, learning the isolation and purification techniques from soil, water, seeds and plant organs
10Long –term preservation techniques of bacterial cultures.
11Basic identification methods for distinguish the different Genera of Prokaryotes (Bacterial cell and colony morphology)
