Objectives of the Course
Giving of basic and general information about organic farming techniques which can be applied in the especially cultivation of vegetables outside of conventional farming in recent years, is aimed.

6The students learn how to control and certification in organic vegetable farming

To give information on issues such as the description, the importance, the objectives, the general properties, the basic principles of organic farming; current status of organic farming practices in the world and in our country; organically cultivation of vegetable species; comparison of conventional and organic vegetable farming; advantages and disadvantages of organic vegetable farming; the use of resistant varieties to diseases and pests in organic vegetable farming; marketing facilities of organic vegetable products in Turkey; control and certification in organic vegetable farming; the main problems and their solutions encountered in organic vegetable farming
