Objectives of the Course
It is essential to predict soil losses with minimum error in order to develop effective management strategies. Therefore, the main focus of this course is to evaluate direct and indirect methods and some erosion models depending on objective and erosion type in micro, meso and macro scales.
Name of Lecturer(s)
Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Serdar SARI
Learning Outcomes
1Attention on natural resource management
2Comprehends the effect of erosion on natural, social and economic losses.
3Understand the meaning and importance of water and wind erosion
4Assesses the problems caused by water and wind erosion
5Measures necessary to prevent erosion and sediment pollution are evaluated.
