Objectives of the Course
To be able to comprehend the language and terminology and read the manuscripts used by the foundations in Ottoman Empire.

Learning Outcomes
1Students have a command of the diplomatic language of Ottoman Empire used in XX. century. Students comprehend interinstitutional correspondences and manuscripts of Ottoman Empire used in XVII. XVIII. century very well. Students can read manuscripts reasonably used in second half of XVII. XVIII. century. Students know the correspondence procedure of the Ottoman foundations. Students comprehend firman, letters patent, warrant and other diplomatic terminology.
