It is to discuss how the economy works as a whole, how it comes to equilibrium, what non-equilibrium situations can be and alternative solutions. |

1 | 1 Can derive aggregate demand (AD) and aggregate supply (AS) lines based on alternative model assumptions.
2 Will be able to comparatively explain and discuss the AD and AS lines derived from alternative macro models.
3 Will be able to explain and comparatively discuss the effects of monetary and fiscal policies on basic macro variables, primarily output.
4 Will be able to comprehend the similarities and differences of the economic policy in the case of a closed or open country.
5 Will be able to explain and discuss macroeconomic relationship patterns and balancing processes in an open economy.
6 Will be able to explain and discuss macroeconomic relationship patterns and balancing processes while alternative capital mobility and exchange rate regimes are in effect.
7 Will be able to explain the effects of monetary and fiscal policies on basic macro variables, especially output, while alternative capital mobility and exchange rate regimes are in effect.
8 Will be able to analyze current economic debates using alternative macro model approaches.
