Objectives of the Course
In this course, it is aimed to know the harmful effects of the radiation produced by the devices used for diagnosis and treatment in hospitals, to the hospital staff and the patient, and to learn the principles of radiation protection in order to prevent or minimize these damages and to apply them in their lives.

1• Takes and implements necessary precautions in accordance with radiation safety and radiation protection rules. • Explains the legal regulations related to Radiation Safety. • Defines radiation safety and radiation protection rules. • Explains the early, late and genetic effects of radiation. • Defines radiation physics, radiation doses and units. • Explains dose measurement methods.
