Objectives of the Course |
The aim of this lesson is to provide skills in identifying hazards within the scope of occupational health and safety studies in workplaces, analyzing the risks that may occur as a result of these hazards, determining risk assessment methods, deciding on measures and how to act in emergency situations. In addition, it is aimed to have knowledge about the importance and basic principles of occupational health and safety, to have skills in using and interpreting the Occupational Health and Safety law, and to have knowledge of the relevant national and international legislation. |

Course Contents |
Risk management and hazard analysis, hazard and risk concepts, sources of hazard and the risks they create, risk assessment as a part of risk management, legal and fundamental reasons for risk assessment, risk assessment team and employee participation, risk assessment techniques and comparisons, risk analysis and techniques, includes risk assessment practices. |
