Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to introduce the main lines of water resources engineering, to comprehend the sustainable management and management of water resources, to provide information on stream morphology and dynamics, and to give basic information about the planning and design of stream structures.

Learning Outcomes
1Calculate the components of the hydrological cycle.
2Will be able to make hydrological analysis of a catchment basin.
3Calculate the flow rate of suspended and swab material carried in streams.
4Will be able to do flood frequency analysis and flood translation calculations.
5Will be able to design relief structures to regularly receive water from streams.
6Will be able to apply the basic information in the design of dams.
7Will be able to design and operation planning of dam reservoirs.
8It will be able to dimension the energy breaking structures and water intake structures.
9Will be able to design a hydraulic system that handles versatile water management.

Course Contents
This course is about quantitative methods for analyzing large-scale water supply problems. Topics covered include the design and management of facilities for river basin development, flood control, water supply, groundwater remediation and other water resource related activities.
