Objectives of the Course
Keeping in mind the perceptions of different type of readers, to make practice on selected samples from the Qur’an on teaching the quality of translating of the Qur’an.

Learning Outcomes
1Learn terms used for explanation and interpretation of a text such as tarjuma, maal, tafseer, sharh, ikhtisar.
2Identify literature of translation techniques of the Qur’an; get knowledge on relation between source and target languages.
3Get knowledge on how youngsters could understand Qur’an via translations of the Qur’an.
4Try to translate poetic Meccan surahs with a poetic language.
5Learn how a person could use an emotional language during the translation the Qur’an.
6Learn that it is possible for different type people to understand Qur’an with a correct translation of the Qur’an.

Course Contents
Identify literature of translation techniques of the Qur’an; get knowledge on relation between source and target languages.,During translating the Qur’an, learn the way of expanding and compression of the meaning without changing the real meaning of verses.

4Subjects related to understanding of the Qur’an correctly such as al-vujuh wa al-nazair, mufradat al-Qur’an, majaz al-Qur’an, mushkil al-Qur’an.
5Techniques of translating from surah al-Fil until surah al-Nas: Standard in the large translation.
6Techniques of translating from surah al-Fil until surah al-Nas: Standard in the concise translation.
