Objectives of the Course
The purpose of this course is to earn skill about botanical and agricultural acteristics, ecological requirements, cultivation techniques and breeding of major oil crops and to graduate agriculture engineerings knowing problems and solving suggestion of oil crops in Turkey.

Oilseed plants: definition, history, importance, classification, production of oilseed crops in the world and Turkey and problems in the production, applied policies. Agricultural, industrial and economical statistics of oilseed crops. Oil plant varieties.
