Objectives of the Course
Effective communication, body language, self-confidence, self-esteem, charisma, clothing, colors, status indicators, spatial language are examined in the context of the factors that make up the person's image, and corporate identity, types of corporate image and functions of corporate image are examined with examples. The elements that make up personal image in the context of relationships, the importance of first impression, the importance of nonverbal communication in image management and personal image management are discussed at the intercultural and intercultural level with examples from daily life.

Course Contents
Within the scope of this course, the elements that make up the personal image in the context of interpersonal relations, the importance of the first impression, the importance of image management and the importance of nonverbal communication in personal image management are discussed at the intercultural and intercultural level with examples from daily life.

1Opening lecture and general introduction. The definition of image and image management as a phenomenon by discussing the importance of person image in interpersonal communication and its etymological examination.
2Determining the factors that make up the image of the person and discussing the importance and functions of these factors. The importance of effective communication within the framework of personal image and determining the ways to make the first impression positive.
3Discussing and classifying the types of person image.
4Evaluation of effective speaking, active listening, understanding, telling, evaluation, presentation style and written communication processes within the framework of effective communication.
5Discussing the importance of positive thinking, self-confidence and self-esteem in image creation.
6Discussing how men and women should dress in business life by examining clothing styles that play an important role in the formation of personal image.
7Midterm exam
8Determining the meanings conveyed by the colors we prefer in clothing.
9Discussing the meanings conveyed by spaces of distance between people, status roles and sitting styles. Another important factor that plays an important role in making the first impression positive is the meanings conveyed by gestures and mimics within the framework of nonverbal communication.
10Discussing the types of corporate image and the factors that are effective in creating an image.
11Determining the steps to be taken for a planned image change by discussing the factors affecting the corporate image.
