Objectives of the Course
This course is purposed that Students are teached general information about edible mushroom, edible mushroom production in world and Türkiye, place of mushroom in taxanomy and nutritional value, Mushroom cultivation areas, mushroom growing systems, what is mushroom compost and how to be prepared, how is the micellium sown in to the compost, how to make production, How to prevent disease and pests during production, mushroom evualition forms

2Know mushroom cultivation areas and production systems
3Learn and can apply how to prepare and pasteurise compost, how to sown micellium in mushroom production
4Know cultural practices (irrigation, ventilation ect.) during production
5Learn how to fruit in mushroom, how to harvest and how to evaulate the harvested mushrooms
6Know how to deal problems encountered during production (diseases, pests, etc.).
