Objectives of the Course
Landscaping derives from the words ays pagus ’which means’ rural, rural erek and us paysage ’which means ar country landscape ına in French and enters Turkish. For this reason, the word has a history where it is perceived as both rural and landscape. With the separation of the discipline of landscape architecture, these meanings are added to such meanings as can gardening, environmental beautification, planting, re-enacting nature Pey. Therefore, in Turkey, dominated the landscape design and urban architecture and urbanism discipline alanlarından- building - to regulate remaining parts were perceived as a professional practice. However, in the current literature, it is the name of the space that includes all the components that make up the city, including landscaping, buildings, green areas, infrastructure, and also intertwined with urban design and architecture. The aim of this course is to discuss the design of urban space, which is shaped by tactics and practices in daily life, through the current practices and theoretical studies, and to show what it means today and what it means for the architectural information field.

Course Contents
This course begins by discussing the urban design and landscape applications and the relationship between architecture and the issue of ve discipline Bu. The course will include a field study to be carried out throughout the semester, in addition to the theoretical discussions aimed at diversifying and sampling with different themes, urban design and landscape. Theoretical discussions include urban landscape, play, contemporary art, extreme landscapes, archeology, nature, waterfront, infrastructure, disability, urban agriculture, etc. over, every week with a different theme. These themes will bring with them theoretical discussions related to public life, power, security, surveillance, democracy, right of city, partnership, daily life. The field study to be fed by these discussions will involve the discussion of an urban problem, which will be given to the participants of the course at the beginning of the semester, every week around the individual project of each participant.
