Objectives of the Course
To teach the basic principles of soil, plant and water relations about irrigation and irrigation methods and to provide effective use of water resources by informing them about appropriate irrigation methods.

Learning Outcomes
11. 1- Performs field capacity, wilting point and volume weight analyzes of soils, calculates useful water holding capacity. 2- Learns the movement of the water in the soil and its holding forms. 3- Calculates plant water consumption. 4- Calculates the need for irrigation water. 5- Makes irrigation time planning. 6- Calculates the appropriate irrigation method according to the land and plant.

11 Having knowledge about of Revolution History and aware of Atatürk Principles subject 2 Knowing the rules of written and oral communication and having effective communication skills. 3 Having Mid-level knowledge of English. 4 Having the skills of using computer and internet technologies. 5 Knowing the botanical properties of medicinal and aromatic plants 6 Well-informed about medicinal and aromatic plants cultivation and isolation stages of secondary metabolite of these plants. 7 Having knowledge about quality seed and cutting production. 8 Having knowledge about the fight methods against diseases and pests that can be encountered during cultivation. 9 Having information about cultural operations during upbringing of medicinal plants, machinery used at maintenance and harvesting operations, tools and supplies 10 Knowledgeable about the use of biotechnology in crop production 11 To obtain high-quality drugs to be determined and harvested during the harvest medicinal and aromatic plants products period to be considered is knowledgeable about the issues. 12 Having knowledge about packaging, storage, marketing and standardization of medicinal and aromatic plants products. 13 Having full of information about with pharmaceutical, cosmetic and spices as raw materials products of medicinal and aromatic plants. 14 Having knowledge about preparation, evaluation of feasibility, identification of the factors mainly to be projection, the pre-projects during the preparation of project.NoneNone
