Objectives of the Course
Provides for the formation of a maritime awareness in our country surrounded by seas on three sides by the Ottoman Empire became a great empire, the importance of the Process of shipping and marine policies; these historical developments, taking into account the emergence of new ideas to solve the problems of today's incidents to understand and supply the basic goal.

Course Contents
Development stages starting from the arrival of Turks in Anatolia and the Turkish Navy to transfer the student in accordance with scientific criteria. Seljuk, Anatolian principalities of the Ottoman Turks until the first years of the republic, and finally the developments in the field of shipping, the issue gained international nature from time to time and came to the fore on the shipping process, learn the important personalities.
