Objectives of the Course |
The goal for this course is to introduce to student the fundamental concepts associated with the operation and programming of programming Logic Controllers (PLC). Also to provide students with the skills to write control programs for a large number of automation control applications. |

Course Contents |
Identification and Interfacing from standard automation control input and output devices to PLC input and output modules, Converting data between the following number systems: binary, octal, decimal, BCD and hexadecimal, Writing automation control programs using instructions from the following categories: Inputs, outputs, timers, counters, and data addressing modes. |
