Objectives of the Course |
To introduce the basic concepts and theories of economic growth to the student and to investigate the causes of inequality between countries. In this context, underdeveloped and developed countries are examined to examine the differences in the world. put forth the point that in the historical process of national planning framework in particular in the framework of the transformation experienced in the planning concept in Turkey to discuss the importance of planning. |

Course Contents |
The concepts of economic growth, sources of growth and measurement of growth are explained and economic growth theories are examined and their validity in today's world is discussed. Later in the historical process of national planning will be put forward to the point where the special understanding of the transformations experienced in the planning framework of understanding the importance of planning in Turkey is to be discussed. |
