Objectives of the Course
To inform the students against occupational accidents and diseases, first aid and teach security measures. Learn and practice the subject of a comprehensive occupational health and safety.

2Gathering the appearance of accidents and their causes.
3Explaining the occupational diseases and preventing ways.
4Explaining ergonomy.
5 Determining the electrical and non electrical equipment safety and preventing ways.
6Explaining preventers and the importance of their usage.
7Learning first aid rules and applicating them.
8Explaining occupational safety investigation.
9Explaining safety rules in fire and explosions.
10Explaining Labor legislation.
11Has the ability to access basic and current information in the field of occupational health.
12Using his/her knowledge and skills in the field of occupational health reviews and evaluates the scientifically data, identifies problems, analyze.
13Take places team work activities and social responsibility projects.
14Know the importance of international ethical guidelines in occupational health.

Course Contents
Definition of Occupational health, Employee health, occupational health and safety team, ocupational health services, work-related diseases and the prevention of occupational diseases, occupational history taking assessment of health status, job-worker harmony, job-specific evaluations, risk assessments procedures, record systems for occupational health, epidemiology in occupational health, ethical issues. Definition and history of occupational safety, accident occurrence and types, and ways to protect occupational diseases, ergonomics, occupational safety in the workshop of electrical and manual tools, Business security Guards, Rules of First Aid, safety measures of the explosion and the fire, Business Law and regulations, the Occupational Safety Investigation.
