Objectives of the Course
To enable students to recognize the dangers and risks that exist in the working environment and to gain knowledge and skills about their legal rights and responsibilities in this regard. To be protected from the dangers and health hazards related to the work and execution of the work in the working environment, to gain the necessary basic principles and practices; To gain knowledge and skills about occupational risks that employees may encounter.

1To be able to count the risks encountered in the working environment.
2To be able to list the chemical risks in the working environment and the precautions to be taken against chemical risks.
3To be able to list biological risks and precautions to be taken against biological risks in the working environment.
4To be able to list ergonomic risks and measures to be taken against ergonomic risks in the working environment.
5To be able to list the psychological risks in the working environment and the precautions to be taken against psychological risks.
6To be able to list the physical risks in the working environment and the precautions to be taken against the physical risks.
7Being aware of their duties / responsibilities and rights in the working environment, being able to observe risks.
8To be aware of the institution, establishment and legal regulations related to the working environment.

Course Contents
The development of occupational health and safety, information about basic principles, information about the duties / responsibilities of the Employee and the Employer, information about the physical, chemical, biological, psychology and ergonomic factors harmful to health, information about developments in occupational health and safety in the world and in our country. To gain knowledge about legal regulations related to health and safety, employment and periodic examinations.
