Dersin Amacı

The aim is to provide students with basic information and demonstrations on first aid rules, necessary first aid situations, and appropriate first aid procedures. Students taking the first aid course are expected to know and be able to assess situations requiring first aid, determine the nature and severity of the situation, acquire the skills and behaviors to apply appropriate first aid, and carry out the necessary referral process.

1	To understand the basic concepts and principles of the science and First Aid,
2	First aid setting priorities (triage) and general knowledge of the role and functions of diagnosing a detailed assessment,
3	Diagnostics, implementation, evaluation and decisions related to the process of making and ability to apply first aid in line to win
4	First aid units, and phone numbers to be contacted in materials and sort that can be used.
5	To understand the functioning of the respiratory system and the importance of, sort of breathing caused in the circumstances, respiratory attempts to do for the realization of the knowledge,
6	To understand the functioning of the circulatory system and the importance of circulation in the absence of knowledge of the proceedings
7	To acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to emergency transportation techniques,
8	To gain knowledge, attitudes, and skills in applying basic life support to adults, children, and infants.
9	Knowing and being able to apply first aid in partial and complete airway obstruction in all age groups,
10	To understand the problems that are caused by bleeding, stop bleeding sort methods, understand the importance of methods to stop bleeding,
11	Know types of poisoning, according to the types of poisoning understand the principles of first aid,
12	To gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to first aid in burn emergencies

General knowledge of first aid and emergency aid, basic life support, injuries and bleeding, regional wounds, circulatory system diseases, respiratory problems, poisoning, burns, environmental factors, and first aid, animal bites and stings, other emergency conditions, fractures, soft tissue injuries, first aid bandage applications, and sick / injured handling techniques include course content.
