Learning Outcomes
Understands the phylogenetic relationships between insect groups and recognizes common taxa.
Become informed of new developments in entomology, understand the scientific path and understand laboratory or field work.
Gain knowledge about the biology, diversity and distribution of insects and their relationships with other invertebrates and the environment.
Understands the effects of living and non-living factors on the development, population growth, species interactions, physiological needs and behavior of insects.
Recognizes insects that cause damage in forestry.
It describes how insects affect production in the forest, how to safely manage populations of beneficial and destructive insect species in forest habitats, and production from forest ecosystems with minimal environmental impact.
Gains the ability to establish and manage forests where entomological problems will be minimal.
