Objectives of the Course
Explaining the concepts and principles that form the basis of Criminal Law, the application area of criminal law, crime theory and elements of crime, special aspects of crime and the concept of punishment, and providing the student with knowledge on these issues.

1To be able to comprehend the nature, purpose and basic principles of Criminal Law.
2To be able to determine the qualifications that must be present in order for an act to constitute a crime.
3To be able to determine the limits of the Turkish Penal Code in terms of place, person and time.
4To be able to comprehend situations that remove criminal responsibility.
5To be able to determine responsibility in cases of attempted crime, participation and association.
6To be able to determine the punishment and security measures to be given in the face of crime.
7To be able to understand Common Criminal Procedure Terms.
8To be able to understand and interpret Criminal Procedure Resources

The term, history, definition and function of Criminal Law, Basic Principles and Consequences of Criminal Law, Application of Penal Laws in Terms of Time and Place, Theory of Crime and Elements of Crime, Reasons Removing or Reducing Criminal Liability I: Cases that eliminate fault, Special Appearance Forms of Crime (attempt) , participation, association), Penalties and Security Measures, Determination and Individualization of Punishment, Reasons Reducing Lawsuits and Penalties constitute the content of this course.
