Objectives of the Course
The course begins with a brief history of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship in economic literature and examines how a business idea turns into an actual business with a holistic approach. The course also focuses on the characteristics of an entrepreneur and aims to increase awareness about the different aspects and dimensions of entrepreneurship, the circumstances underlying the formation and development of entrepreneurship, and business plan development. The course is designed to have students become aware of their own entrepreneurial capacity and the areas to improve.

1Students will be able to define how to be a successful entrepreneur and the basic personal traits needed,
2Students will be able to evaluate what are the basic issues that an entrepreneur considers while establishing a firm,
3Students will be able to explain political, environmental, economic and market opportunities and threats for being an entrepreneur,
4To teach students sources of financing (Debt and Equity)
5The aim is to motivate students with stories of successful entrepreneurship.
6To enable students to establish a firm with real cases in business and entrepreneurship.
