Objectives of the Course
With this lesson, the students are aimed to learn about the primitive religions spread throughout the world and about the Judaism, Christianity and Islam which entered the group of monotheistic religions.

Content of the course; Definition of religion and its origin, classification of religions, relativism of religion history with other branches of science, other views put forward about the source of religious sentiment, basic characteristics of primitive tribal religions, some basic concepts in primitive tribal religions, Confucianism, Taoism, Shintoism, Zoroastrianism, Sabiism, Hinduism, Cainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
