Objectives of the Course

This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge, skills and values that students should have in working with young people. In the course of the course, the characteristics of the youth period will be examined with a view to taking into consideration the basic principles in working with young people, the field of youth welfare, rights based approach, participation of young people, micro and mezzo and macro level social work practices with young people.

Course Contents

The aim of this course is to create psychosocial theories on the youth period, the self-harm behavior of young people and the interventions that involve the individual and family to be done while working with young people.
