Objectives of the Course
The basic contents of the concept of "Occupational Health", which was established in order to keep the health of the employees in all professions at the highest level socially, psychologically and physically, to make the working conditions and production tools suitable for health, to protect the employees from harmful effects and to ensure the harmony of the work and the employee, will be explained. Information will be given about the measures to be taken to create a safe working environment in order to prevent employees from experiencing occupational accidents.

1Will be able to define the concepts and rules of Occupational Health and Safety.
2Will be able to explain the basic concepts of business law.
3Will be able to explain physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risk factors.
4Will have information about emergency action plans.
5Will be able to make definitions about work accidents and occupational diseases.
6Will be able to explain the control hierarchy and the importance of using PPE.
7Understand the principles of risk assessment and risk management.
