Objectives of the Course

The objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skill to discuss the basic organizational problems related to the management sciences, to explain the methods of analyzing the problems and to interpret the data obtained about the different study subjects related with contemporary management.

Contents of the course include; Development of management sciences, Management and organization concepts, definitions of leadership and manager and their characteristics, Classical, neoclassical and modern management theories, Selected topics in contemporary management; Management functions: Planning, Organizing, Execution, Coordination, Auditing.

3	The historical development of physical education and sports, and a comparison of physical education and sports practices in different countries.
4	The development of sport in ancient times and the impact of sport in the modern age.
5	The origins, characteristics, and effects of sport philosophy.
6	Sports pedagogy and its fields of study.
7	Lifelong sports understanding
8	Sports organizations in the world and in Turkey
9	The development and organization of the Turkish sports system.
10	MIDTERM EXAM
11	Student presentations on the definition, aims, basic elements, and examples of sports organizations.
12	Theoretical: Stages of sports organizations and related committees. Practical: Student presentations.
