Objectives of the Course
To equip students with knowledge, skills and competence about the science of fiqh, its sources, methods of jurisprudence, deduction of rulings from sources and legal reasoning (ijtihad).

4The congruity of classical and contemporary legal opinions with the fundamental sources of Islamic law are evaluated.
