Objectives of the Course
Teaching the way of understanding of the Qur’anic verses and discussion subjects that occurs in verses from Tafsir books that are in the middle or the high difficulty level.

Learning Outcomes
1Recognize the commentators and commentators named Maturidi, İbnü'l-Cevzi, Nesefî, İbn Katîr and Şevkanî.
2It increases the knowledge of the apocalypse and the hereafter within the framework of the chapter of Nâziat, which is read from the Ta'vîlâtü'l-Qur'an commentary.
3Learns the details of the blessings bestowed on "Hz. Solomon" within the framework of the verses (an-Naml 27/15-44) recited from the tafsir of Zâdu'l-Mesîr
4Follows the history and method of tafsir by applying them on the texts read.
5Sees that there can be a differentiation in the interpretation of the Qur'an with the change of time.

1To give information on Ibn Kathir and his tafsir book; to study following subjects from surah al-Baqara, verses 104-110: “Abrogation”, “jealousy of people of Book to Muslims”, “five prayers and obligatory alms (zakah)”.
2To study Jewish-Christian controversy in history and importance of houses of Allah (mosques) from surah al-Baqara, verses 111-115.
3To read tafsir text from surah al-Baqara (verses 116-122) that covers topics such as “idea of God in the People of Book and their claim to Allah having son for him”, “viewpoint of People of Book towards Muslims”.
4To read text of Tafsir Ibn Kathir related to surah al-Baqara (verses 164-171) that cover topics such as “relation of God with universe”, “Satan and misguidance”, “eating and drinking from halal”.
5To read Tafsir al-Nasafi (surah al-An’am, verses 74-81) that comprises the topics of “Abraham’s relation with his nation and Tawhid”, “Abraham’s attitude towards idols and polytheism”.
6To read commentary of surah al-An’am (verses 82-92) that includes topics such as “Prophets who come from Abraham’s race and family”, “Prophet Muhammad is a prophet in the same line”.
7To read tafsir Zad al-Matheer (surah al-Naml verses 15-26) and discussing topics such as “Blessings that were given to Prophet Salamon; Salamons army that covers different elements; to bring information from the Queen of Saba by bird Hudhud”
8To read text of Zad al-Matheer (surah al-Naml verses 27-33) that comprises topic of “to send letter to the Queen of Saba by Salamon, Queen’s conversion to Islam after her visit to Salamon”
9Reading tafsir Fath al-Qadeer (surah al-Qalam, verses 1-16) and discussing topics of “Personality of Holy Prophet; his relation with the leaders of Quraysh”
10To read commentary of surah al-Qalam (verses 17-41) from Fath al-Qadeer and to discuss tale of “Young brothers who lost their father and their bad behavior towards poor people and God’s angry on them because of their meanness” and “comparison between believers and unbelievers”
11To read commentary of surah al-Qalam (verses 17-41) from Fath al-Qadeer and to learn topics such as “Prophet Muhammad’s patience in his struggle with pagans”, “ordeal of prophet Jonah” and “charming somebody”
12 Reading tafsir Tawilat al-Qur’an (surah al-Naziat, verses 1-26) and discussing topics of “Last day of the universe=qiyama/storm, situations of hereafter and examining people”, “struggle between Moses and Pharaoh, destruction of Pharaoh”
13To read interpretation of surah al-Naziat (verses 27-46) from Tawilat al-Qur’an and discussing topics such as “God’s wisdom in creation”, “situations of hereafter”, “what will get believers and unbelievers in the hereafter”
