Objectives of the Course
The purposes of the course is to give information about basic principles of beef cattle raising, beef catle enterprises, practical works in beef cattle rearing, calf rearing methods, ration preparation tecniques for beef cattle, marketing of beef cattle, basic carcass traits and principles of carcass evaluation.

1The students will be able to choose beef cattle which will have high fattening performance
2The students will be able to prepare ideal fattening feeding program according to types of animals
3The students will be able to prepare beef cattle diets including concentrate and roughage feed
4The students will be able to select the most appropriate sire for conditions of the each beef cattle enterprises.
5The students will be able to gain skill for assesment of the carcass in terms of their quality.
6The student will be able to have enough information about how to growth healthy calves.
