Objectives of the Course
Main purpose of the lesson is to develop understanding, explaining, listening and creating power of the student through music; to provide discrimination of the difference and the similarities between Turkish Music and Classical Music with classic and folkloric forms; to develop musical sensibility, consideration, interpretation and creation skills of the student; to get student adopt a using the time, a taking responsibility both singly and in-group, a working seriously, a watching music activities in the neighbourhood; to generate a repertory selected from Contemporary Turkish Music and global music works related to the orchestra; to represent our country with this repertory in the national and international music activities.

1 Detection, analysis and interpretation of the aims of course. 2 Kinds of the orchestra and orders of seating. 3 Instruments of the orchestra. 4 Collective playing rules and collectivityof the sound on the monophonic works. 5 The monophonic works. 6 Transition from monologism to polyphony and collectivity of the sound on the duets. 7 Duet exercises. 8 Speed and nuance terms in the collective playing. 9 Trio exercises. 10 Collectivity of the sound and resonance exercises on the quadraphonic works. 11 Baroque period. 12 Composers of the Baroque period and Baroque period style in the performance. 13 Performance of the samples selected from Baroque period works. 14 Performance of the samples selected from Baroque period works.
