Learning Outcomes
1At the end of this course, the student will be able to suggest communication approaches suitable for business expectations and benefits in global applications. Sub-Competencies: • Interprets the connections between globalization and communication. • Relates communication studies with international agreements. • Question the most appropriate communication approaches for the institution in the international framework. • Explain how different media systems and news routines affect public relations practices, especially traditional media, digital media, social media and mobile technologies.
2Will be able to propose solutions for problems that may arise in intercultural business practices.
3Will be able to evaluate Public Relations studies in a global context. Sub- Competences: • It exemplifies how international companies and international organizations affect the development of public relations in the global arena. • Distinguish similarities and differences between local and international public relations. • Discusses the effectiveness conditions of public relations in multicultural environments. • Recommends strategic decisions within the framework of global public relations. • Discusses the development of global public relations studies within the framework of new communication technologies. • It exemplifies measurement and evaluation studies in global public relations practices.
