Objectives of the Course
The purpose of the course is to get the students of higher religious education to teach the definition of the Turkish-Islamic literature and its scope; to introduce the basic concepts and methods of field, and to notice the meanings of the religious concept certained in the historical process.

1To explain the general characteristics of the Turkish-IslamicLiterature;
2To learn periods of the Turkish-Islamic literature, and to know the major poets who are glad to observe in these periods;
3To recognize the relationship between religion and literature in the axis of literary genres revealed by Islam;
4To list the classic works of world literature appended by Turkish Islamic Literature;
5To produce a new literary topics based on the issues dealt with the Turkish-Islamic Literature;
6To classify the works of Turkish Islamic Literature by subjects;
7To recognize the formal properties of works of Turkish Islamic Literature;
8To compare the indigenous genres of The Turkish-Islamic literature with the literary genres affected by the neighboring cultures and civilizations;
9To analyze the genres growing with Islam in Turkish Literature;
10To generate the ideas on the using the literary genres in the religious services;
