Objectives of the Course
To introduce the minstrel tradition of the Anatolian field, to explain the literary and sociocultural background that prepared the minstrel tradition, to give information about the minstrel meetings, to examine the examples of minstrel poetry, to introduce the leading minstrels.

3To explain the concept of minstrelsy tradition and minstrel literature and to explain the factors that make up the tradition.
4To explain the formation and development of minstrel literature in Anatolia.
5Minstrel, lover's upbringing, nickname, characteristics, etc. explain and introduce concepts
6To introduce the oral and written environments (such as minstrels' feast, fasils) in which the tradition of minstrelsy is carried out in accordance with the tradition.
7To introduce and examine the syllabic types of minstrel literature with examples.
8Examining the genres of minstrel literature written with the aruz die by introducing them with examples.
9Introducing the representatives of the 15th and 16th century minstrelsy tradition starting from the 14th century and examining their poems.
10Introducing the 17th century minstrels and dwelling on Karacaoğlan
11Âşık Ömer, one of the 17th century minstrels, to introduce Gevherî and to examine his sample poems
12To introduce the minstrels of the 18th century, to dwell on Âşık Levnî and to examine his sample poems
13Introducing the 19th century minstrels and examining the prominent minstrels with their sample poems
14By introducing the 20th century and today's minstrels, to examine the prominent minstrels with their sample poems.
