Learning Outcomes
1Produce examples by learning the structural and functional characteristics of word groups.
2Identify and distinguish the elements which are included in sentence formation in Turkish depending on their structure and functional characteristics.
3Organize smaller and bigger units by perceiving the sentence as a narration unit.
4Form texts without causing expressional deficiency.
5Teach how Turkish is used accurately, carry out sentence activities over texts and they will be able to have this done.

2Word-exposition-type; word group/ it's definition, usage, function, way of taken up. Word groups in Turkish; possessive group, noun and adjective phrases (features of structure and usage), examples
3Title, number, preposition, brace, compound noun and verb groups (features of structure and usage), examples
4Abbreviation groups; predication, approach, availability, remove, relation and agency groups (features of structure and usage), examples
5Word groups leaning against verb forms; groups of verbal noun, participle and gerund (features of structure and usage), examples
6The study of determining and seperation to founding units of word groups
7Sentence; it's description, main and supporting elements, dealing with the topic of sentence in Turkish (dealing with elements and their classification)
8Mid-term exam
9Types of sentences, determining of sentences according to their structures, the problem of compound sentences in Turkish
10Types of compound sentences (condition, compound sentence with ki and compound sentence one within the other, compound sentence in layers) their structures and methods of analysis
11Methods of sentence analysis; practice steps in analysis, founding element analysing method according to name of function, methods of forming the tree of bracket-syntagm and works of sentence examination
12Analysis of word groups and syntax
13The units longer than sentences and dealing with them
