Objectives of the Course
To teach Arabic and Persian structures, Arabic elements (word roots, the concept of mezid, and vocabulary types); Noun in Arabic language, nouns in terms of quantity, nouns in terms of quality, writing works, words with special punctuations, calendar information, sample text activities and dictionary using techniques; and Ottoman alphabet and how to read printed documents written with this alphabet.

1Know the primary and secondary letters in words of Arabic origin.
2List the types of words of Arabic origin.
3List the major Arabic infinitives used in the Ottoman Turkish and the examples about them.

5Read the selected texts in printed form or script.
