To teach basic information about historical periods of Turkish language and works belonging to these periods.

1To learn general information about historical periods of Turkish language
2To determine the place of Turkish among the languages in the world.
3To apprehend linguistical features, alphabets and lexicon of old written languages of Turkic.
4To learn Turkish grammar comparatively in terms of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantic and lexicon through the methods of linguistics.
