Learning Outcomes
1Define of Earth and geological processes effecting on earth crust forming, and rocks and rocks forming minerals. Defining of structural processes on subsurface and surface progress.
2Learn of rock materials, mass movement and earthquake.
3Solve of geological promlems using quantitavite values.
4Run analysis of disasters forming mechanism.
5Do synthesize of different geotechnical problems, and determine of relationship between these problems and human.

Introduction (definitions, evolution of engineering geology) Earth and earth materials; mineral and rocks; structural geology, surface geology, engineering properties of rock and soils, Mass movement (classification, reasons, preventation) Dam geology ( classification, selection of location and type, engineering geology research for dams) Tunnelling geology (definitions, problems in tunnelling, tunelling methods) Anchorage, grouting and geotextile
