Objectives of the Course
The aim is to teach types of the text, the differences and relations of the texts and improve the writing ability. The aim is to teach how to create texts which are related with types of writing expressions. The aim is to teach how to create the text by using the internal and external items of writing expression. The aim is to introduce Turkish writing exppression texts and teach the students how to compose a text. The aim is to teach how to use the language in correct form , and if there are exporession problems correction of them. The aim is to teach how to notice expression problems and write all kinds of texts. (letter of aplicaiton, official reports?etc.)

Recommended Optional Programme Components
The main specialities of writing language and writing communucation, the main differences of writing language and oral language. Expression: wrişting and oral expression; subjective expression, objective expression; pharagraph; types of pharagraphs(entrence-development-result). Definition of the text and text types; principles of a text (meaningful, consistency, intentionality?) writing expression (writing composition; free texts, planned texts); planned text writing phases; (subject, limiting the subject, aim, deciding the main and flank thoughts; plan of writing, harmony of the paper.) ; information texts (letter, news, advertisement, report, scientific texts), studying on examples and writing practice; writing a summary of a text; correction of the problems of writing expressions.

1Having enough academic information about: description of the language, functions of language, grammar and basic concepts of the science of language, Qualifications of world languages, place of Turkish language among these languages, historical periods of Turkish language, sound and sound events, word attachments, word derivation paths, phrases, sentences, sentence elements, sentence types.
2To have adequate academic knowledge about theories of literature, Göktürk and Uyghur literatures, Divan literature, Sufi and folk literature, the new Turkish literature, world literature.
3To have relevant knowledge and skills about Turkish language and literature; about the transfer and application of teaching methods and techniques, which is necessary at reading listening, speaking and writing areas to primary school education II. grade level of students.
4To have adequate knowledge and skills, which are necessary for the teaching profession, at the areas such as classroom management, assessment and evaluation, educational psychology, use of technology and materials, teaching principles and methods, laws and regulations governing the activities of educational institutions.
5To show that they can work independently by having an advanced level at “learning to learn” skill.
6Taking responsibility for decision making in complex and unpredictable situations at professional activities and projects.
7To have enough level of foreign language skill in at least one foreign language to follow up and use information about Turkish education and communicate with colleagues.
8To have enough information about communication technologies and computer software-hardware which is necessary for Turkish education.
9To have social, scientific and ethical values at the stages of data collection, interpretation and publishment of Turkish education scientific studies.
10Uses Turkish, right, well and according to the effective speech rules, in a way which would allow better communication and understanding, and in an aesthetic manner. Has enough information about Turkey s Turkish sound science, the shape of science, syntax, semantics, and uses this information.
11Has the skills of creating knowledge, editing, transmission, storage, presentation , and sharing at Turkish Language and Literature field by using information and Internet technologies.
12Intends to have enough level of foreign language skill to be able to follow current research and to communicate with colleagues in the field of Turkish Language and Literature.
13Being history-conscious about principles of Atatürk and being knowledgeable about Revolution.
14Knows old alphabets of Turkish and can translate them to Latin alphabet and can do linguistic studies on these texts.
15Knows modern alphabets of Turkish and can translate them to Latin alphabet and can do linguistic studies on these texts.
16Has the ability to read, to understand and to analyze the texts which are written in Turkey Turkish Anatolia and Rumeli accents.
