Definition of water quality, water quality, a purpose (recreational, fish production, drinking) and character (sea, lakes, rivers, dams, water reservoirs, wetlands, estuaries) to learn the causes of pollution in accordance with the quality criteria and variability.

Course Contents
Physical and chemical characteristics of the water. Surface waters, biological mechanisms. Classification of pollution elements. Natural and anthropogenic changes in water quality during the hydrological cycle. Swimmer suspended and colloidal materials. Thermal pollution. Non-toxic, biodegradable substances, radioactive and power. Organic items. Water pollution, phosphorus and photosynthesis effect of nitrogenous substances. Microbial contamination. streams, lakes, groundwater and water quality criteria and standards for marine pollution. Evaluation of environmental impacts of the protection of the aquatic environment.
