Objectives of the Course
The aim of this course is to evaluate the application steps disposal of solid waste from the source till the last removing center, to learn the vehicles and equipment used for this purpose, to be able to comment by learning the removal methods.

Learning Outcomes
1to make the definition of solid waste, to classify, to categorize the matter in solid waste, to learn the analyze methods of physical and chemical parameters.
2to know the criteria of public collection, transport in solid wastes and to calculate them.
3To learn the design, building, and operating of landfill sites.
4To learn composting and biomethanisation processes, thermal disposal techniques such as incineration, pyrolysis and gasification.
5to examine solid wastes and control regulations to adapt the plan and design aspects with the regulation.
6To produce solutions about solid waste.

Solid wastes and production quantities, solid waste facilities; solid waste storage, collection of solid waste, solid waste handling (transport optimization), transfer centers, solid waste disposal methods: methods of landfill, composting, incineration-pyrolysis, solid waste recovery.
