Objectives of the Course |
The aim of the general business course is to introduce the students of business education to the basic concepts of business and management, to enable them to look at business science and business from a broad and holistic perspective. In addition, it is aimed to examine the stages until the establishment of the enterprise and to examine the business functions that must be fulfilled in order to survive after the enterprise starts operating. |

Basic concepts of business. Goals and responsibilities of businesses. Classification of businesses. Basic concepts of entrepreneurship, Making a Business Plan and finding a business idea, Economic systems and business administration, Studies on the establishment of businesses. Business and its environment. Functions of businesses: management, production, marketing, human resources, finance, accounting, research and development and public relations functions. Functions of Management: directing, planning, decision making, organizing, coordinating, controlling. |
