Objectives of the Course
"Help students, who completed higher education, to comprehend operational and structural properties of Turkish Language accordingly and to develop their skills in using effective and true Turkish Language as written and verbal communication in line with the relation between language and idea. Besides, raise generation who protect Turkish Language from the effects of foreign languages considering Turkish Language in historical development itself, who contribute the development of Turkish Language, who can teach the importance of having a language conscious to the next generations."

"1- Explain general properties of language. 2- Argue origin, definition and impotance of language. 3- Compare relation between language- idea and culture. 4- Interpret relation between language and communication. 5- Argue historical periods of Turkish Language and alphabets used for Turkish Language. 6- Argue classification and origin of Languages. 7- Compare Modern Turkish dialects. 8- Summarize histoical periods of Turkish Language. 9- Associate sound properties of Turkish Language. 10- Study emphasis subject in Turkish Language. 11- Discribe the affixes of Turkish Language. 12- Explain the sound events in Turkish Language."
