Objectives of the Course
This course; Introduction (history, topics) of the field of developmental psychology, general theories and stage theories, research methods, biological basis of development, sensory/perceptual, cognitive, emotional and social processes that reveal the changes observed in behavior in the stages of life up to the end of childhood, and culture, family and social processes. It includes the objectives of acquiring information about the effects of the environment, such as school, on the individual.

1Explain the historical process of developmental psychology; defines the most important processes, periods and issues in human development, explains basic theories and research methods;
22 Prenatal development by giving examples of the interactions of heredity and environment as the causes of individual differences in development;
3Defines the development of social orientation and attachment early in life; infants' development of social contexts;
