Objectives of the Course
The aim of the course is to enable the students to explain the events which are known to be news in the first place and to turn them into news. In the news collection and writing lesson which is one of the basic courses in journalism education, it is aimed to collect the news information from the scene and then prepare them for the profession of journalism by teaching them in the limited time given to them. In addition to the practices carried out, issues such as the characteristics of the journalists, ethical rules, and the principles that a journalist should have are taught to the students.

Course Contents
The topics listed under the course plan are transferred by the instructor from the literature and from the current examples, and the applications within the course are evaluated by projection through projection. As the course is applied, an interactive approach is mastered and students are actively involved in the lesson.
