the basic concepts of migration and urbanization problems through Turkey, aims to explain the legislation and institutions to discuss the place of social services in the framework of this problem.

1Define and classify the basic concepts and theories of migration and urbanization.
2Develops a scientific perspective on the problems of migration and urbanization, which are used extensively in daily life.
3Recognize and analyze the social problems of immigration and urbanization problems.
4Develops solutions by using social work theory and knowledge in favor of disadvantaged groups and social problems caused by migration and urbanization.
5Defends the rights of social groups with different ethnic and cultural characteristics
6Evaluates the international and national developments in the context of migration and urbanization
7Strives to increase the role of social work in social integration of different groups

Course Contents
The concept of migration and its types and theories. Relationship between migration and urbanization. In Turkey, urbanization, population distribution, metropolitan and management, environmental problems, national and international environmental law and institutionalization. the current situation regarding migration and urbanization problem in Turkey. Integration and social work practices in the process of migration and urbanization.
